Chris Singleton Wizards Rookie

Today, I am going to take a look at Chris Singleton. He was the Wizards other first round pick.

Chris Singleton

Height 6'9
Weight 227
Age 22
Position SF/PF

I will let Chris Introduce himself in his own words.

"Strengths:

  • Difference maker on the defensive end
  • Can guard on the perimeter or in the post
  • Great reaction in jumping the passing lane
  • Athleticism
  • Length
  • Shot blocking
  • Solid rebounder
  • Plays with high energy at all times
  • Terrific in transition
  • Good passer
  • Range out to the three-point line
    Weaknesses:

  • Ball handling
  • Taking defenders off the dribble in one-on-one situations
  • Inconsistent outside shooter
  • Too often falls in love with that inconsistent jumper
  • Handling contact in the lane"  WalterFootball

  •  In short Singleton is exactly what the doctor ordered. The Wizards have been deficient on defense for quite some time. This guy is a great defender. He offense is still a work in progress, but whatever he provides there will be a bonus. Not that he won't be able to contribute on offense. He will, in fact, especially on the fast break.

And now a word from John Wall.
